It’s a year later and time for another class of startups at the Techstars Boulder Accelerator. After an amazing year of adventure and learning abroad I was asked to come back as an Associate and help out with the last month of the program gearing up for the big community Demo Day. I am stoked to be back at Techstars!
This being my second time as an Associate, I more or less knew what to expect. Although the program structure is similar year to year, the people involved are what makes it exciting year after year (this is the 9th year in Boulder). In addition to a new class of startups, Techstars Boulder has appointed two local startup superstars to succeed Nicole Glaros as Managing Directors; Zach Nies and Natty Zola. Zach is the former Chief Technologist for Rally Software and is a Jedi master of systems and processes and has been a Techstars mentor since 2008. Natty went through Techstars Boulder in 2010 as the founder of Everlater, which was acquired in 2012 by AOL and merged into MapQuest. These are just two of the many amazing people that will call Downtown Boulder home for 3 months.
